Here are some of the song titles and opening lyrics:

Something Will Happen

With every beating of every heart

Love can end or love can start

It's just a matter of luck or fate

Sometimes all you can do is wait

So hold on baby hold on

And every day's a labyrinth maze

Now you can laugh or you can pray

Doesn't matter what you believe or say

A change is bound to come your way

So hold on baby hold on

We're lost on a sea of uncertainty

And still with hope we tarry on

Hiding our fears  While  drowning in our tears

We should have known all along

just carry on

Life is never what it seems

Is it real or like a dream

Where

Something Will Happen

She's On A Holiday:

She's been down on her luck   she's been  out on a limb

she's been knocked down but she got up again

she's been used and confused and oh so broken hearted

she can't believe just how easy it  all started

now when they call she comes running

for a hour of fun or an night of love'n

so she orders up another tall margarita

cause the taste it leaves is oh so much sweeter

than those memories of how she got this far

and just where she is bound

she's on a holiday round and round she goes

she's on a holiday  where she lands she never knows

she's on a carousel she's got love for sale

she's on a carousel spinning round and round

till the party crashes down.

Actors Reprise

I was sitting on a hotel barstool downtown L.A.

when this girl came and sat beside me and she was talking and looking at me that way

so, I made a little conversation to be kind she said you look like an actor

I bet you hear that all the time

And I thought to myself lady if you only knew

Since my baby left me feeling blue I've been acting, acting like a fool

She said have I ever seen you in anything you know from this angle

you look like that guy you know what's his name

or have I seen you on some local TV show

she said pardon me man I just wanted to know

And I thought to myself lady if you only knew

Since my baby left me feeling blue I've been acting, acting like a fool

And I play the part of broken heart...raise your glasses in the air

it's the leading roll of a lonely soul and a life time of despair

and I'm appearing most every night in a bar somewhere

So, I told her I'm an actor ...the  best she'll ever see

and if I got an award ...it should be that  academy

and I should have a star on that Hollywood Blvd.

cause I don't find this acting all that hard

And I play the part of a  broken heart...raise your glasses in the air

it's the leading roll of a lonely soul and a life time of despair

and I'm appearing most every night in a bar somewhere

I'm appearing most every night in a bar somewhere

Baby Please Come Home:

I heard the garbage man bang a garbage can

I was up all night I'm a worried man

I saw the sun come up

I watched the moon go down

I was walking the floor all night long you were not around

I heard Van Morrison playing on my radio

he was singing and moaning soft and low

singing baby  baby  baby please don't go

And the rain played a refrain

on the drain outside my window

I heard a telephone ring I heard a door bell knock

There was nobody there just that damn old clock

I heard a whistle blow

i heard the rooster crow

i heard me this morning saying oh Lord I just don't know

Let That Whistle Blow

I was standing down by the railway station

just to watch those trains as they come  and go

while I was standing down by the railway station

Well, I heard that lonesome whistle blow

And suddenly and old sad feeling took me back

to the day my love she went away

the conductor said all aboard the train

and I was left standing in the pouring rain

So  Let That Whistle Blow

let it moan soft and low,

So, Let That Whistle Blow all my blues away

Tell that driver man he's  a one man band

So play it sad and low everywhere he goes

Let my baby know I still love her

and maybe when she hears his lonesome train

She'll know that I'm still standing in the pouring rain

Down At The Factory

Down at the factory you know I'm working hard night and day,

But I don't want to live and die this way

I hear the morning bell and  it's time for me to sell my soul

I hope sweet dreams come true before they grow to old

I'm living dollar to dollar and day by day

I'm working harder and harder every way

I'm living dollar to dollar and day by day

I'm working harder and harder every way

You know the way it's going I'm going to  work my life away

You know the way it's going I'm going to  work till my dying day

Down at the factory  punch the clock and start my day

I'm trading my time sweat and blood just to earn my pay

Down at the factory  you know I'm working hard every day

Just a working my life  working my life a way

Down at the factory a minute feels just like a day

And if you listen close you'll hear my life just ticking away

You know I want to be somewhere far from this factory

But for now I'll break my back and bend my knee

Cause some sweet day my dreams will all come true

And some sweet day  I'll share them all with you

Until that day comes  you know I don't know when

so I'd better get up girl  I can't be late again

I Can't Turn Back Those Hands Of Time

Just like an arrow in the dark

my love has missed the mark

It's just a dying spark

Now  I Can't Turn Back Those Hands of Time

I can't turn back in my mind

I can't turn back down that lonesome railroad track

I Can't Turn Back Those Hands of Time

so down the road I run chasing rainbows in the sun

love has come undone

Now  I Can't Turn Back Those Hands of Time

I can't turn back in my mind

I can't turn back down that lonesome railroad track

I Can't Turn Back Those Hands of Time

But here on a quite Santa Fe night stars and the pinion burning

Snow falls down like diamonds in the night

and the only sound I hear is a solo song

And like that old Santa Fe train now so long gone

I can't turn back down that lonesome railroad track

I Can't Turn Back Those Hands of Time

Just Another Day In The City

I'm standing on the corner with my guitar in my hand

and I'm going down to Union Square to make my stand

The mime on the corner he knows that he's playing the fool

and through an open window they're playing pool

just another day  just another day just another day

in the city by the bay

just another day  just another day just another day

in the city of love

just another day  just another day just another day

in the city by the bay

just another day  just another day just another day

in the summer of love

Now I'm going back to Texas where the pieces lay

And if I come back to California it'll be another day

You know the ground is shaking and the sky is on fire

But if I said I coming back never more then I'd be a liar

You Know What I Mean, You Know What I'm Saying

Please have mercy on a man like me

nine times out of ten I'm in misery

but I ain't no different from  anyone else

so why's this dark cloud hanging over me

I hear'em talking about freedom

now why's it always such a mystery

Life's that same old same old

So how in the world can anybody

ever be free

You Know What I Mean You Know What I'm Saying

You Know What I'm Saying You Know What I Mean

may be I should be praying

with all my eyes have seen

It's just a bleeding wonder my eyes can even see

It's just a bleeding wonder that my eyes don't bleed

Those Wayward Angels

Those wayward angels that watch over me

sure get their kicks playing tricks on me

I can hear them laughing like the distant wind

every time they've got me dancing on the head of a pin

angels  are  our friends

angels stand by you thick and thin

those angels  that watch over me

They sure get a kick  playing tricks on me

Everybody knows there's Angels all around

They're either going up or they're coming down

And they say when a love is true

Angels come down from heaven just for you

but if you listen to the whisper of the distant wind

you'll hear those wayward angels of mine

laughing again

Only Heaven Knows

Everybody knows what I'm talking about and

I don't have to scream and I don't have to shout

Heaven only knows with out a doubt

Whatever happened to love   Whatever happened to love

I keep searching I keep searching I keep on searching for love

But everywhere I look I see me staring back

Through the broken pieces and the scattered tracks

Of everything life held but now it lacks

Whatever happened to love   Whatever happened to love

Whatever happened to love I just don't know

Only Heaven Knows     Heaven Only Knows

Only Heaven Knows     Heaven Only Knows

I said Only Heaven Knows

What happen to love   Your sweet love

Talk'in about your love baby

Whatever happened to love I just don't know

Only Heaven Knows

Everybody Knows

I can see by your eyes you've been laid low by surprise

cause you thought by now true love would call your name

but when you woke up again this morning

staring at that ceiling all a lone

you knew deep down inside there was no one left too blame

and everybody knows a time when love was blind

and days so unkind with nights all alone

and everybody knows for sure that love is the cure

for all the pain the world has ever known

but I don't want to be the one who says what is done

but please don't walk away from love

I know love is a heavy load

And sometimes it's a dusty  road

Can't be bought can't be owed

love is free love is free love is free

Roll On

Talking with some friends the other day Speaking of how life slips away

I turned around to look and they were gone You know time just rambles on

But every now and then I think about it I think about how my life has been

I can recall all those fragile memories That stir in me like a summer breeze

Time passes by See how it flies

I want to ramble on down that road

I want to ramble on down that highway

Roll on through the falling rain

Roll like a willow in a hurricane

Roll like a river roll like a stone  just keep rolling till your rolling home

I want to ramble on down that road

I want to ramble on down that highway

I want to ramble on down that road

Got to ramble on got to travel on winters near and summers almost gone

It won't be long till leaves begin to fall

and memories dance like shadows on the wall

I see her face in every frame I fell a chill when I hear her name

I still recall her loving memory

I can run baby but I'm not free

It's Going To Take A Miracle

Well, It's going to take a miracle I'm Going to need a sign

I'm going to need a lucky break if I ever make her mine

So, I'll get myself a mojo hand so strong it can't fail

Then I'll get myself a voodoo charm I'm going to cast me  a spell

Then I'll go on down to Madam Moon and get my cards read

She can give  good advice and she can raise love from the dead

She can raise love from the  dead

Ain't my love strong enough to be with  you

Ain't my love good enough to see you through

I got my mojo working  got my voodoo too

but that old black magic just don't work on you

So, I'll conjure up  a magic spell and I'll mix a potion of love

Send her a golden ring and a pure white dove

Then I'll get myself a rabbit's foot and read my horoscope

You never can give up on love you can never give up hope
